Books I'm looking forward to!

So there are so many awesome books coming out this year and I have picked the three books that I am most excited about that come out at some time this year!

1. Afterworlds by Scott Westerfeld-

Publisher: Simon pulse
Page Count: 608
Release Date: 24th September

Goodreads synopsis:

Darcy Patel has put college and everything else on hold to publish her teen novel, Afterworlds. Arriving in New York with no apartment or friends she wonders whether she's made the right decision until she falls in with a crowd of other seasoned and fledgling writers who take her under their wings…

Told in alternating chapters is Darcy's novel, a suspenseful thriller about Lizzie, a teen who slips into the 'Afterworld' to survive a terrorist attack. But the Afterworld is a place between the living and the dead and as Lizzie drifts between our world and that of the Afterworld, she discovers that many unsolved - and terrifying - stories need to be reconciled. And when a new threat resurfaces, Lizzie learns her special gifts may not be enough to protect those she loves and cares about most.

2. I'll give you the sun by Jandy Nelson-

Publisher: Dial Books
Page count: 384
Release Date: 16h September

Goodreads synopsis:

Jude and her brother, Noah, are incredibly close twins. At thirteen, isolated Noah draws constantly and is falling in love with the charismatic boy next door, while daredevil Jude surfs and cliff-dives and wears red-red lipstick and does the talking for both of them. But three years later, Jude and Noah are barely speaking. Something has happened to wreck the twins in different and divisive ways . . . until Jude meets a cocky, broken, beautiful boy, as well as an unpredictable new mentor. The early years are Noah's story to tell. The later years are Jude's. What the twins don't realise is that they each have only half the story, and if they could just find their way back to one another, they’d have a chance to remake their world.

3. The Retribution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin-

Publisher: Simon and Schuster
Page count: 464
Release date: 4th November (HOPEFULLY I MEAN AFTERALL WHO KNOWS RIGHT!?!?!)

Goodreads synopsis:

Mara Dyer wants to believe there's more to the lies she’s been told.
There is.

She doesn’t stop to think about where her quest for the truth might lead.
She should.

She never had to imagine how far she would go for vengeance.
She will now.

Loyalties are betrayed, guilt and innocence tangle, and fate and chance collide in this shocking conclusion to Mara Dyer’s story.
Retribution has arrived.

So those are all the books I am looking forward to for this year! I cannot wait for these books to be released and when they are I will read them straight away so look out for some reviews!
