Love-a-Thon mini challenge #4

Hey guys! So I am back for the second day of the Love-a-Thon! So the first challenge of today is the 4th challenge and for this challenge (How many times am I going to say challenge?) we have to share some fun photos of our books!

I was thinking about what I could do for this challenge and then the idea came to me! I have made three stacks of hardback books that act like a podium for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. In those places are going to be my top 3 books that I've read so far this year!

(this is the structure that I am going to follow, 1st place being in the middle, 2nd place on the left and 3rd place on the right and the first pile is the tallest, second pile is the second tallest and the third pile is the shortest)

So let's begin!

I started by getting all of my hardbacks off my shelf and just putting them in random piles so that later I could sort them out into towers!

So then I just put them in random piles and took a ridiculous amount of time making sure all the piles were at the right height and then I took even more time trying to get my top three books to just stand on the top but I did it in the end!

And finally...

My piles were complete!

In first place we had Wicked by Jennifer L Armentrout with a hardback pile of books consisting of:

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows by J K Rowling
Landline by Rainbow Rowell
Four by Veronica Roth
The Merciless by Daniella Vega
We Should Hang Out Sometime by Josh Sundquist
My True love Gave To Me edited by Stephanie Perkins
The Young Elites by Marie Lu
Noble Conflict by Malorie Blackman
Half Bad by Sally Green
Black Ice by Becca Fitzpatrick
The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen
The Secret Garden by Francais Hodgeson Burnett
Conversion by Katherine howe
Endgame by James Frey

In second place was The Selection by Kiera Cass with a hardback pile of books consisting of:

The One Dollar Horse by Lauren St John
Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raasch
Cinder by Marissa Meyer
The Murder Complex by Lindsay Cummings
Stitching Snow by R C Lewis
The Program by Suzanne Young
Panic by Lauren Oliver
Alienated by Melissa Landers
Capturing the Light by Roger Watson and Helen Rappaport
Golden Son by Pierce Brown
Inferno by Dan Brown

In third place is Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover with a hardback pile of books consisting of:

Race the Wind by Lauren St John
Scandal by Sarah Ockler
Reality Boy by A S King
The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han
I'll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson
The Bone season by Samantha Shannon
The Iron Trials by Holly Black and Cassandra Clare

And then finally I had to put all the books back on my shelf which took a while but I had a little help...

That's all for my mini challenge! I hope you all enjoyed and I'll see you soon!

Happy Reading!

Lily x
