Recommended Books! #2

Hey guys! Sometime last year when I started my blog I did a book recommendations post (looking back at it now I am cringing because that was such an awful post). So I thought I would do another one since I've read many more books now and I am going to try and do ones that you may not (or may) have heard of!

(Warning, I have linked my reviews for some of these books and some of these books were reviewed WAY BACK so they are really bad so just keep that in mind!)

Vendetta by Catherine Doyle

I read this book earlier this year and I LOVED IT! It was so much more than I expected and it was refreshing and a fun read despite the dark turn it takes!
This book is a Romeo and Juliet retelling and I think this was a really well done retelling and just go and read it!

Addicted To You by Krista and Becca Ritchie

I was recommended this book by Christy over at Novel Ink and I read it and loved it! This is a new adult book and the synopsis does make it seem like a really typical NA book and doesn't make it seem very...deep?
But this book is so much more than you expect it to be!

Bitter Sweet Love by R C Stephens

I received this book for review and I expected to just like it and find it as a fun read but this book was so much more than you expect it to be and I was pleasantly surprised and satisfied by the turns that this book took and I would totally recommend it if you're looking for a more exciting and interesting NA.

Wicked by Jennifer L Armentrout

This is my favourite book that I've read this year and I LOVE anything that Jen writes! This book was so action packed and had an awesome romance at the same time!
I highly HIGHLY recommend this book because it's just everything awesome about Jennifer's writing in one book and I loved it so much!

Never Never by Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher

This book either had really good ratings or really bad rating but luckily I really liked this book! I thought that Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher did a really good job together because the writing was really good and I couldn't tell who wrote which POV!
This book was really unique in plot and I have never read anything like this with a similar story and I really loved it!

Every Ugly Word by Aimee L Salter
You've probably heard me talk about this book before but I really enjoyed this book because it was just an emotional ride and I really connected to the main character even though I have never been in any situation like hers.
Granted, the writing is not the best but you won't really care when you read this book because you just want to know what's going to happen and you're too busy feeling sad for the main character!

The Merciless by Daniella Vega

My goodness this book. This book is absolutely CRAZY! I loved this book so much because the synopsis makes it seem really creepy but the book is even better! This book was action packed and the main character gets herself into so many bad situations so whilst I was reading this, my brain was going crazy because I was imagining myself in her shoes and I was getting extra creeped out so just PLEASE READ THIS BOOK!

Branded by Abi Ketner and Missi Kalicicki

I don't have much to say about this book other that I just really enjoyed it and it was such a good dystopian novel that I really enjoyed! I can't really explain why I liked this book so much I just really did because I never found myself wanting to stop reading it!

  1. I haven’t really heard of any of these before, so you certainly did good on showing books not everyone would have heard of before! Vendetta sounds like it could be really interesting. I’m not into adult reads at the moment and it does look like an Adult or NA, from the cover, but I really like Romeo and Juliet retellings. They can be so neat, and it’s such an interesting story to take inspiration from, because it’s so bittersweet.

    1. I wouldn't say Vendetta was an adult book but the cover does make it look like it is! It's really cool and unusual and I think you'd really like it!
