Author(s): Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher
Publishers: -

Goodreads Synopsis:

“Never forget that I was your first real kiss. Never forget that you’ll be my last.
And never stop loving me between all of them.
Never stop, Charlie.
Never forget.”

Silas races against time as more truths unravel, while others twist tighter together. And now, the stakes are higher as Silas’ control slips and others begin to point fingers. Charlie is in trouble and he must be the one to bridge the chasm between their past and their present. Because somewhere between I love yous and Never Nevers and Never Agains, a truth they can't imagine, beckons to be found.

“Where are you, Charlie?”

I really enjoyed Never Never Part 1 so I was super excited for this book and whilst it was not bad and I did enjoy it, I was a bit underwhelmed by it after the exciting ending for the first book. This book just felt shorter and a little annoying.

I enjoyed this book purely because it was so quick and action packed. The action in this book was continuous and the plot took a twist that I was totally not expecting. I enjoyed seeing what all the characters were doing because this book was so fast paced and short.

Although I said I liked the fact that this book was so short and fast paced, I did think that I would've liked it more if it were longer because the first book left me wanting so many answers which I did not get AT ALL in this book which was kind of infuriating.

I loved the characters in the first book but in this second book I did feel that they changed too much for me and even though with the plot that is understandable, I did not enjoy them as much as I did the first time round. In this book also there is no contact between Silas and Charlie which I think is one of the main things I enjoyed about the first book so lacking this really made me not enjoy the book so much.

Looking back at this book I realised that even though this book was exciting and action packed, not much happened in it that was substantial or relevant/important to the general plot or to the next book in this series which is disappointing.

Overall this book was fast paced and exciting but disappointing. I gave this book...

3/5 stars

That's all for this review, I hope you enjoyed and I'll see you again soon!

Happy Reading!

  1. I agree with everything you said, Lily! This book basically had no answers to any questions from the first book, and Charlie and Silas didn't "click" like they did in part one. :( I'm hoping part 3 is much better! Awesome review!

  2. It seems like this one doesn't really do much after the first book was so good. It seems like it left out a lot of things you wanted to have answered. I hope the next book in the series is a lot better.
