Top Ten Tuesday: Favourite Authors of All Time

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by the girls at The Broke and The Bookish.
Each week is a different topic in which I will have to pick my top ten!

This weeks topic: Favourite Authors of all time

10. Catherine Doyle (Author of Vendetta)
I really liked Vendetta and Catherine seems really nice so I'd love to meet her!

9. Kiera Cass (Author of The Selection)
The Selection was such an awesome read for me and I'd love to chat with Kiera about all her characters and about The Heir which I am SO excited about!

8. Cassandra Clare (Author of City of Bones and OTHERS)
She's Cassandra Clare...what more can I say?

7. John Green (Author of The Fault in Our Stars and OTHERS)
Let's be honest, even if you haven't read any John Green you still want to meet him!

6. Sarah J Maas (Author of Throne of Glass)
I love Sarah! Her books are amazing and I'd love to meet her and I actually am going to meet her next month so yay!

5. Colleen Hoover (Author of Maybe Someday and OTHERS)
Colleen just always seems to get it right with me! I've only read two of her books but they're all so amazing and effortless! Even though it feels like a breeze reading her books, they kill me emotionally but I still love it!

4. Veronica Roth (Author of Divergent)
Divergent was the one book that got me into reading and I still love it to this day so I'd love to tell Veronica how much her book has affected my life.

3. Stephanie Perkins (Author of Anna and the French Kiss)
I just think all of Stephanie's books are amazing, cute and funny! Étienne was my first book boyfriend and Anna was my favourite characters for the longest time so I love Stephanie and her books!

2. Carrie Hope Fletcher (Author of All I Know Now
Carrie's book has not come out yet but I'd still love to meet her because she is such an inspiration to me and I love her youtube channel and just her in herself! Saying this, I am actually going to meet her next month on her UK tour and I am BEYOND excited!

1. Jennifer L Armentrout (author of Obsidian and OTHERS)
If you know me then you know that Jennifer L Armentrout is my favourite author of all time and it all started the second I started Obsidian. I would adore to meet Jennifer but unfortunately she never comes to the UK but if she ever did I'd have a heart attack because I almost had one when I ordered one of her books and it came signed!

That's all for this weeks Top Ten Tuesday! I hope you enjoyed and I'll see you again soon!

Happy Reading!

    1. I love to meet them so bad! I am ashamed to say that I haven't started The Duff yet! I'm right in the middle of my exam period so I have no time!

  3. This was such a great topic, wasn’t it Lily? I had so much fun picking out and then doling masses of love upon the authors I chose, though only one of them was the same as yours (Sarah J. Maas). I think John Green would be pretty awesome to meet, agreed, because though he’s not a favourite author at the moment, he seems like a really genuinely neat and enthusiastic person, and I like that he kind of… tells it like it is. He doesn’t shy away from the tough stuff, in his writing or video blogging.
Getting a signed book without even knowing it was going to be signed would be absolutely wonderful! And so exciting. Aah. Happy times, for sure. Xx

    1. Sarah J Maas can do no wrong in my eyes! I agree, John Green isn't one of my favourite authors but I'd really like to meet him because he just seems like an awesome guy!
When I opened the package I saw it had a sticker on it and I first thought, 'Great something I am going to have to get off' Then I saw what it said and I literally screamed!

  4. Cassandra Clare has to be one of my favourite authors as well! I absolutely loved all of her books that I have read! I do need to still try a lot of books by these authors as well, but I am hoping to get to all of them. I have tried two of John Green's books but unfortunately the writing style just hasn't worked out too well for me yet :/

I do think Michael Grant and Malorie Blackman would have to be on my list!

    1. I put John Green on this list mostly because he seems like an awesome person! I loved Noughts and Crosses but I didn't really like the ending or the other books so that's why Malorie isn't on my list
