Goodreads Synopsis:

No. More. Sex.

Those are the three words Lily Calloway fears the most. But Loren Hale is determined to be with Lily without enabling her dangerous compulsions. With their new living situation—sleeping in the same bed, for real, together—Lily has new battles. Like not jumping Lo’s bones every night. Not being consumed by sex and his body.

Loren plans to stay sober, to right all of his wrongs. So when someone threatens to expose Lily’s secret to her family and the public, he promises that he’ll do anything to protect her. But with old enemies surfacing, Lo has more at stake than his sobriety.

They will torment Lily until Lo breaks.

And his worst fear isn’t relapsing. He hears the end. He sees it. The one thing that could change everything. Just three words.

No. More. Us.

I really liked the first book in this series and this one is just as good! This book is full of twists and turns and the relationships in this book just get cuter and better and I loved this book.

The main thing I liked about the first book in this series was how it was still NA but focused so well on the mental health aspects of this story. In this book the therapy that Lo and Lily go to plays a big part and how the recovery of quitting their addictions affects them. I originally thought this was going to drag the book down a little bit for me but it so did not. This was because of the relationships that were going on in this book and how Lo and Lily helped each other and how their relationship grew.

Lily and Lo in this book were just as cute and amazing as the first book. Their relationship in this book was fantastic because they were no longer using each other or ignoring the fact that they both have issue that they want to solve and this took a turn on how the relationship worked. Despite this change, they were still so cute and funny together but at the same time it was nice to see that more caring, emotional side of the relationship and the characters.

The side characters in this book are the things that I love the most. In the first book we do not see much of Rose and Conor or Ryke and Daisy but in this book we get so much more. Conor and Rose are such well developed side characters and when this book may have become too angsty or stressful I loved seeing the appearances from them as well as the appearances of Ryke and Daisy's growing attraction.

The plot of this book was so not what I was expecting. As a second book with a maybe predictable ending, I was not expecting much from this book but the turns this book took and me being on the edge of my seat constantly made this book just as good as the first one. The plot of this book was fantastic and heart-breaking and so so SO interesting.

I really enjoyed this book so in the end I gave it...

5/5 Stars

That's all for this review! I hope you enjoyed and I'll see you again soon!

Happy Reading!

  1. Glad to hear you enjoyed the book! I don't read NA or anything, but it's nice seeing other bloggers like you who appreciate the story. :) I like how this book focuses on the mental health aspects, though. Personally, I have a thing for books that have bits of mental health into it, lol. Anyway, great review! I like the way you write! :D
