*Synopsis and review may include spoilers for Throne of Glass.
Goodreads Synopsis:
From the throne of glass rules a king with a fist of iron and a soul as black as pitch. Assassin Celaena Sardothien won a brutal contest to become his Champion. Yet Celaena is far from loyal to the crown. She hides her secret vigilantly; she knows that the man she serves is bent on evil.
Keeping up the deadly charade becomes increasingly difficult when Celaena realizes she is not the only one seeking justice. As she tries to untangle the mysteries buried deep within the glass castle, her closest relationships suffer. It seems no one is above questioning her allegiances—not the Crown Prince Dorian; not Chaol, the Captain of the Guard; not even her best friend, Nehemia, a foreign princess with a rebel heart.
Then one terrible night, the secrets they have all been keeping lead to an unspeakable tragedy. As Celaena's world shatters, she will be forced to give up the very thing most precious to her and decide once and for all where her true loyalties lie...and whom she is ultimately willing to fight for.

Goodreads Synopsis:
No one would suspect shy Lily Calloway’s biggest secret. While everyone is dancing at college bars, Lily stays in the bathroom. To get laid. Her compulsion leads her to one-night stands, steamy hookups and events she shamefully regrets. The only person who knows her secret happens to have one of his own.
Loren Hale’s best friend is his bottle of bourbon. Lily comes at a close second. For three years, they’ve pretended to be in a real relationship, hiding their addictions from their families. They’ve mastered the art of concealing flasks and random guys that filter in and out of their apartment.
But as they sink beneath the weight of their addictions, they cling harder to their destructive relationship and wonder if a life together, for real, is better than a lie. Strangers and family begin to infiltrate their guarded lives, and with new challenges, they realize they may not just be addicted to alcohol and sex.
So I'm pretty sure that we're all the same here, but I LOVE book covers. Before I started to get into the YA genre, I didn't care much for the way my books looked and what edition I had them in but now I have to have the hardback pretty version or I will regret everything.
So as you can tell book covers mean a lot to me and even though this sound extremely shallow, I think having a better book cover draws me to read the book more and makes me enjoy the book more!
Because I love book covers I have decided to show some of my favourite book covers from books that have already come out and some from books that are coming out soon! So here goes!

Goodreads Synopsis:
Theodore Finch is fascinated by death, and he constantly thinks of ways he might kill himself. But each time, something good, no matter how small, stops him.
Violet Markey lives for the future, counting the days until graduation, when she can escape her Indiana town and her aching grief in the wake of her sister’s recent death.
When Finch and Violet meet on the ledge of the bell tower at school, it’s unclear who saves whom. And when they pair up on a project to discover the “natural wonders” of their state, both Finch and Violet make more important discoveries: It’s only with Violet that Finch can be himself—a weird, funny, live-out-loud guy who’s not such a freak after all. And it’s only with Finch that Violet can forget to count away the days and start living them. But as Violet’s world grows, Finch’s begins to shrink.

So this is not a book related post but I've seen loads of people discussing which TV shows they want to watch. I personally do not watch much TV let alone watch many series and I think there was only ever one TV series that I finished and loved to death (Gossip Girl). Saying this there are so many shows I want to watch so I thought I'd share them with you!
Everyone has a way they rate books whether it be by giving them a mark out of ten, giving them a percentage of by rating them out of five stars which seems to be the most common way.
I use the five star way of rating but each of my ratings mean something different, for example, I may give a book three stars but it may not mean I thought it was okay, may it meant I liked it but it had quite a few issues.
